Commodore Amiga 2000 / 1500 ATX Power Supply Adapter Cable

Revive your classic Commodore Amiga 2000 or 1500 with this high-quality adapter cable, designed to safely connect a modern, readily available standard ATX power supply to your vintage motherboard. This provides a reliable, cost-effective alternative to sourcing rare and aging original power supplies.

Key Features

Universal ATX Compatibility: Accepts both standard 20-pin and 24-pin ATX power supply connectors.

Direct Motherboard Connection: Plugs directly into the Amiga 2000/1500 internal power header, matching the original pinout layout.

Cost-Effective Upgrade: Eliminates the need to hunt for expensive, failure-prone vintage power supplies by leveraging modern, efficient, and easily replaceable ATX units.

Technical Specifications

Input: Standard PC ATX Power Supply (20-pin or 24-pin)

Output: Commodore Amiga 2000 / 1500 proprietary power header

Weight: 0.09 kg

⚠️ Important Compatibility Notes

No TICK Signal: This adapter does not generate the 50Hz/60Hz square wave TICK signal originally provided by the Amiga power supply. If your setup requires this signal (e.g., for the hardware real-time clock), you must either configure your motherboard to generate it internally (e.g., via jumper J300 on compatible revisions) or install a separate TICK generator module.

No -5V Rail: Modern ATX power supplies do not provide a -5V output, and this rail is absent from this adapter. Verify that your specific expansion cards and motherboard configuration do not require the -5V line before use.
