AMYCarousel

v1.0 — Amigatronic | Desktop application (Electron)

AMYCarousel is a desktop application for building animated HTML product carousels. Manage a list of products, configure appearance and timing, then export a self-contained carousel_output.html file ready to embed in any webpage or banner ad network.

📦 Product Manager

ADD PRODUCT Each product accepts an Image URL, Product Link URL, optional Redirect/Shortener URL (e.g. bit.ly), ALT / Short Name, and a Descriptive Text.	DRAG TO REORDER All products can be reordered via drag-and-drop, giving full control over the rotation sequence.
EDIT / DELETE Each product row exposes an edit (pencil) and delete (trash) icon for quick inline management.	LIVE PRODUCT COUNT A live badge next to the "Products" header shows the total number of loaded items at a glance.

🖥 Live Preview

The central canvas updates in real time as settings change, showing the carousel exactly as it will appear in the browser.

Three layout modes are available: HORIZONTAL VERTICAL NARROW — the current pixel size (e.g. 728×90 px) is always displayed above the canvas.

⏱ Time Per Product

A slider controls how many seconds each product stays on screen before the carousel advances. Default: 4 seconds.

All colors are fully customisable via color pickers in the control panel.

🏷 Carousel Title

An optional title (e.g. "The Amy Family") and an associated URL can be added and displayed above the carousel. The title toggle shows or hides it in the live preview.

🌐 Language Editor

All UI strings are editable per language (IT / EN) through a built-in editor. Each key (e.g. add_product, btn_download, drag_hint) maps to a customisable label. A Reset button restores all defaults. Changes are saved automatically.

⚡ Export

Once configured, the carousel can be exported in multiple ways:

⚡ Download carousel_output.html	Saves a complete self-contained HTML file with all assets inlined.
📋 Copy HTML to clipboard	Copies the full HTML output directly to the system clipboard.
📤 Export JSON	Saves the full project state (products + settings) as a JSON file.
📂 Import JSON	Restores a previously saved project from a JSON file.
