AMYRGB2VIDEO is a new Amiga RGB adapter cable for generating S-Video and composite video (CVBS) that works with Amiga 500 (and Plus), 2000, 3000, 4000 and CDTV (which do not have a color output). It uses a genuine, rare and expensive 23-pin DB23 female D-SUB connector.

You can choose to convert Amiga’s RGB signals to PAL (for all European and Australian Amigas) or NTSC (for USA and Japan) by selecting the appropriate option from the drop-down menu called “STANDARD”. It is a great alternative to the bulky and awkward Commodore A520 modulator.

It can also add an S-Video output to ALL Amigas ever made, including CDTV and CD32 (the latter requires a specific adapter, not included).

Moreover, with some modifications and addons, you can use it on PCs with CGA/EGA/VGA cards that have 15 kHz/50-60 Hz horizontal/vertical sync outputs (but only VGA cards with specific TSR drivers running under MSDOS/Windows) to play retro or arcade games on a CRT TV set.

It can also add composite/S-Video outputs to almost ANY device that supports RGB and follows standard video resolutions (SDTV), such as old DVD players, retrocomputers like ZX Spectrum+, QL and others.

AMYRGB2VIDEO is the cheapest and smallest RGB to PAL/NTSC converter for Amiga computers in the world at the time of writing.
